Christianity is presented as the great teacher of “soul-atomism”—the belief in an indestructible, eternal, indivisible soul—which the author considers a superstition that must be overcome. The religion arose when fear became rampant among the populace, displacing the gratitude-based spirituality of the ancient Greeks. As a religion for sufferers, Christianity has systematically preserved the weak and sick while working to shatter the strong and autonomous, inverting all values to produce a diminished, mediocre European humanity.
