Corruption#
Summary#
Corruption indicates that anarchy threatens to break out among the instincts and that the foundation of life is convulsed. Its manifestation differs radically according to the organization in which it appears. In an aristocracy, corruption occurs when the ruling class abandons its fundamental belief in itself as the highest justification of society, instead reducing itself to a mere function of royalty or commonwealth.
