Summary#
Psychology, as presented in these texts, has historically been hindered by moral prejudices that prevented it from exploring the depths of human nature. The new psychology must abandon the old “soul-atomism” that treats the soul as indivisible, instead embracing conceptions like “soul as social structure of the instincts and passions.” Reconceived as the morphology and development-doctrine of the Will to Power, psychology should become the queen of the sciences and the path to fundamental problems.
