Tempters#
Summary#
Nietzsche designates the philosophers of the future as “Tempters,” a name he admits is itself an attempt or temptation. These new philosophers wish to remain something of a puzzle; they can be understood only insofar as they allow themselves to be understood, and the name captures their nature of intellectual seduction and provocation.
